Rancho Los Alamitos, Long Beach

Mr. Mod and I went to Rancho Los Alamitos to see a free production by the Long Beach Shakespeare Company of A Midsummer Night's Dream in August. I've seen this play performed a number of times, and it is always enjoyable to see how each acting troupe adds their own personality to the material. I wandered around before the show and soaked in the gorgeous twilight - what a rare jewel hidden in the middle of a residential neighborhood!

Now that we are nearing winter, I'm starting to miss all the natural beauty of summer. These flowers are just what I needed.
