Flower Fields, Carlsbad! Canon Macro Photography Day

We had a great day in the Carlsbad flower fields on Sunday afternoon, testing out macro lenses and ring flashes, and trying to avoid sunburn. Vintage tractor rides, singing harpists and raspberry gelato and miles of gorgeous ranunculus!

These photos rather remind me of Pushing Daisies. For all you PD fans, ABC will be showing the final Pushing Daisies episodes beginning May 30th, (at last!) and the WB is running the first season online here!
